Heeere’s Dev logs! Your quick update on all the improvements and additions added to the Origins: The Fall of Azoria
Knowing is half the battle (according to certain military oriented sources…) so we’ve included visual aids to represent all the effects influencing your character just below your health/stamina/weka bar. Sometimes it’s a good idea to disengage if the debuffs are a bit too overwhelming.
Some basic testing revealed that combat sequences weren’t intense enough, so there was some refinement applied in both melee and spell casting in an attempt to overcome that. This includes the character animations, not just combat mechanics.
The UI is continuously improving to convey as much information as possible while not cluttering the screen. Here’s the most recent look of player attributes and the skill tree:
