Community Questions and Answers
- When will the game launch? - Our current priority is on finalising core systems ( e.g. Combat mechanic which you can see in PVP showcases), feature expansion till the launch of the game, which will happen in phases. More details will follow the closer we approach its completion.
- Where is Steve and can we talk to him? - Steve is still at the helm of the Dreams Quest as a CEO/Co-Founder, leading our talented and capable team towards. Due to that, he’s focusing his efforts on working with investors and partners (equity round, contractual, legal bindings). Despite that, he’s still deeply involved in every major decision and development.
- What are the plans for bringing new or more investors into the project? - With the increased interest in DQ, we are exploring new partnerships and funding opportunities that align with our vision and values. There are multiple investors and partners that show high interest in our IP at this time. Unfortunately, due to the confidentiality agreements, we can’t disclose any specific details yet. For our partners, this is going to be a really exciting year with various products coming out!
- How many devs are working on the project? - As of today, our team proudly represents over 40 talents from all over the world (Vietnam, India, US, Europe etc), spread out across multiple teams, each working on a different aspect of the game ( VFX, animation, unity, blockchain, game mechanics, sound/level design etc). Carefully selected by Steve and Paulii, each member brings their own unique skills and expertise to elevate Dreams Quests to its full potential. Our hiring practices are focused on individuals and not nationalities.
- Will the Dreams token have a use case in the game? - While there’s going to be a utility for the Dreams token, there will not be a direct use within the game itself due to legal constraints.
- What happened to our coins in the farm, which you deleted? - We understand concerns that arise from our changes in how we handle the LP program. Rest assured, there was no burning on any token and our LP pool has been phased out, with steps taken to return the funds to all those who staked in it. These changes were necessary to align with our long-term goals and will benefit the project’s sustainability and efficiency in the future.
- How can we get tokens in-game? - As mentioned above, the use of tokens will not be implemented directly into the game but will be used as a utility - more to follow the closer to release date.
- Are there plans for new exchanges? - We’re currently not looking to expand onto any new exchanges as MEXC and Kucoin, XT.com are working out great so far. Expanding on new exchanges would require a rather lengthy and arduous process, riddled with limitations and various requirements to fulfil. Instead we’re focusing our time and effort on development and other high priority activities instead of securing more exchanges at the moment.
- Will the game have NFTs? - As we have mentioned previously our game is a mobile game which means that the web3 component will need to be connected by individual players if they wish to participate. NFTs are planned to complement mobile game. They’ll represent unique weapons, equipment and other assets, enhancing players’ ownership and interaction. NFTs in the future will allow trade between players, collection, and usage of the assets in the game for the purpose of crafting and progression.
- What is the plan for 2025? There’s a lot planned out for 2025, without giving any fixed dates, we’ll be launching our DQ merchandise (plushies), releasing our children's book , and continuing our efforts on developing Origins: The Fall of Azoria. There’s going to be plenty of visuals shared on our social media in the form of images (concept art, character silhouettes, highlights etc) and of course videos (character animations, locations, in-game footage etc) to keep our community updated with the progress. 2025 will be a very exciting year!
